Meaning
This pattern expresses the speaker's effort or intention to do (or avoid doing) something. It shows deliberate action taken to achieve a goal or prevent something. The negative form ...ないようにします means to be careful not to do something. When used with しています, it shows ongoing effort. The polite form ...ようにしてください is more courteous than a simple command and suggests habitual or continuous care rather than a one-time instruction.
