Meaning
These three patterns express giving and receiving favors or helpful actions. Use 〜てあげます when you do something beneficial for someone else (cannot use with superiors). Use 〜てくれます when someone does something beneficial for you, often expressing gratitude. Use 〜てもらいます when you receive a favor from someone, with the receiver as the subject—note that the particle に marks the giver, opposite to the other two patterns.
