〜ようが〜ようが/ようと〜ようと

Pairs two contrasting or similar conditions to express that neither affects the outcome.

Meaning

This pattern is used when one wants to express that no matter what action is taken, one's strong feelings or an unchangeable fact will not be affected. It carries the same meaning as 「…でも…でも」. The two verbs used are typically similar in meaning or opposite in meaning.
