Meaning
This pattern describes an event or plan that has already been decided or scheduled, regardless of the speaker's personal wishes. Unlike つもり (personal intention), 予定です expresses arrangements that are officially scheduled, decided by others, or agreed upon with others. It indicates something that will definitely happen based on prior planning.
