Meaning

〜ところです describes the timing of an action and changes meaning based on the verb form used. Dictionary form + ところです means an action is about to start. Te-form + いる + ところです means an action is currently happening. Past tense (ta-form) + ところです means an action just finished. This pattern is commonly used to express the precise moment or status of an action.
