というものではない/というものでもない

Meaning

This pattern denies that something is absolutely or necessarily true, even though it might be commonly assumed. It expresses the speaker's strong assertion that just because a condition is met doesn't guarantee the expected result. The pattern can attach to verbs, i-adjectives, na-adjectives, and nouns. The variant 'というものでもない' carries a slightly softer negation than 'というものではない'.

1. ゼミナーに参加すればいいというものでもない。自分の研究の進展を述べるべきだ。
   Simply attending a seminar doesn't mean it's sufficient. You should explain your research progress.

2. 日本語能力試験に合格すればからずしも日本で仕事を見つけられるというものではありません。
   Just because you pass the Japanese Language Proficiency Test doesn't necessarily mean you can find a job in Japan.

3. この病気は手術をすればすぐ治るというものではない。長い時間の治療が必要そうだ。
   This disease is not something that gets cured immediately just by having surgery. It requires a long period of treatment.
