Meaning

~てしまいます expresses that an action has been completely finished or completed. It has two main uses: (1) to indicate the completion or finished state of an action, and (2) to express regret, reluctance, or an unfortunate outcome. The casual spoken form is ~ちゃいます/ちゃった, commonly used in everyday conversation.
