〜もらってもいいですか/動詞(て形)いただきたいんですが

Polite request patterns expressing humble apology while asking someone to do something

Meaning

These two patterns are polite alternatives to てください used when asking someone to do something for you. They convey a sense of gratitude and politeness toward the listener. When speaking with superiors, bosses, or people you don't know well, using いただきたいんですが creates a more respectful impression than もらってもいいですか.
