〜に準じ/準じて/準じる

Expresses that something follows or conforms to a given standard or precedent.

Meaning

「準じる」 may also be written as 「準ずる」. This pattern is used when the preceding item serves as the standard, and the following item follows that standard or is treated in a manner befitting it.
