This pattern expresses a positive purpose. It is used when someone acts with a determined, proactive goal they truly want to achieve. It means 「〜するため」 (in order to). It is a formal, literary expression. 「んがため(に)」 can be followed by verbs, adjectives, or adverbs. 「んがための」 is followed by a noun.
