Meaning

This pattern describes decisions or arrangements made by others or determined by circumstances, rather than by the speaker's own will. It indicates something that has been decided and will happen regardless of personal intention. To express a decision NOT to do something, use the negative form: 動詞(ない形) + ないことになります.
