Meaning

〜はずです expresses a logical conclusion or strong belief about what should happen based on reasoning. It indicates that something is theoretically or logically expected to be true given the circumstances. The negative forms are 〜はずがない or 〜はずではありません, meaning 'should not' or 'it is unlikely that.'
