About Unithing

I've been studying Japanese for years. I've tried a lot of tools. The problem was never a shortage of resources — it was the noise.

Dictionaries stuffed with ads. Practice apps that push daily streak notifications. Every session starting with three taps before actual studying. The design goal had quietly shifted from “help you learn” to “keep you in the app.”

I just wanted a quiet place to practice JLPT, read articles, and look up vocabulary. I couldn't find one, so I built it.

Unithing is a one-person project. No company, no ads, no gamification. Just questions and you.
